  is a specialized 1 non-profit research, consulting, technical assistance and training firm for public and private sector leaders nationwide.  We help leaders make smart investment decisions, develop sound financing strategies, and build solid partnerships that benefit children, families and communities.

New Website!

The Finance Project is pleased to announce the launch of http://www.charterresource.org/, a new website for charter school leaders.  Providing information and ideas on effective charter school finance and governance, this new website hosts an array of resources and tools—including a publications clearinghouse, promising practices compendium, and federal funding catalog—to help policymakers, authorizers, and operators build and support stronger charter schools.  The website is produced by the National Resource Center on Charter School Finance and Governance, a collaboration among The Finance Project, USC Center on Educational Governance, and WestEd funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

New Information Resource Center!

The Finance Project is pleased to announce the launch of the Connected by 25: Information Resource Center for Youth Transitions Initiative. Visit this resource center to access research, best practice, policy, and resources on how to develop and sustain supports and services for youth transitioning out of foster care.  The Resource Center is supported by the Foster Care Work Group, a group of national foundations who have come together to develop a shared vision and investments to support more successful transitions for youth aging out of foster care.

  • The Youth Programs Resource Center provides information and resources related to supporting and sustaining youth programs, initiatives and policies. In this section, you will find data, tools, policies, practices, financing strategies, coordination efforts and technical assistance resources developed by The Finance Project and partners.
